Weekly Top Shot - Wishes

Fields and fields of Dandelions - this is a perfect year for them.  They are here for a bit - then gone to wishes.  Cute little kids blowing them in the wind, making a wish for each one they blow away.  These photos were taken in a park on the edge of town.

I wish happiness for all

And peace

Love

Serenity

And good fortune!

I know dandelions get a bad name...but I like them.

Your dandelions are ahead of mine! :)

Mine are still little and small ...today Kate and I picked some violets, a dandelion and one crab apple tree blossom and made a wee bouquet for her other grandma that was picking the kids up here.

My yard is full of little violets...such a sweet spring here seeing them! :)

I love the way you have put your photos in series, focusing in on the dandelion head.

The close-ups are stunning! And I love the old trees providing a backdrop for the field of dandelions.

When I was a kid some one told me they were part of Santa's beard. When I blew on them I was to make a wish for Christmas and wind would carry that wish to Santa. I still can't help to blow on a Dandelion, even today at my age!

We have more than our share of dandelions. In addition to your good wishes, I kind of wish they'd go away!
