Flowers

Spring flowers are coming - and soon the Golden Chain trees will be blooming.  They grow in the wild here in NW Washington, as well as in yards everywhere.  They are related to the pea family, as you can see by the blossoms.

Up close - be careful - there are many bees in these flowers, but they usually are only interested in the flowers.

The whole tree glows with hanging flowers.

And I have a new blog - it is the adventures of a bear, a frog and a doll - do stop by if you have time and get to know them.  Out and About With The Critters

These are wonderful, so vibrant, we have them in UK, they are called Laburnum, related to Wisteria which is similar but more blue and lilac.
