Blue Jay

While I was waiting for Don at a doctor's appointment, I saw a Blue Jay up in a leafless tree.  He was looking around

Up

And down - and then

Prepare for take off

Lift off

Wheeeeeee

 Bye Bye Birdie

What a beautiful shade of blue he is! I have not seen a blue jay quite like this one. Great captures.

That's a different kind of Bluejay than I am used to seeing. What a beautiful bird. Your pictures are excellent. I am a big fan of wings so the shots in flight are favorites.

I loved seeing the steller jays when we were in BC, we don't get them in our province of Ontario.
