Regularly Scheduled Scavenger Hunt - if you can stand one more

This is the scavenger hunt I have normally been doing - a repeat of the clues - but not a repeat of the interpretation.

TOOLS

Our grandson Jahn-Zyel, learning to sew on my Featherweight Sewing Machine

Hand sewing a button on the purse he was making as a gift

MOTION

Crow trying to scamper up the rock, instead of flying

The brown horse was charging toward the spotted horse - I think he didn't want to share the spotlight

SWEET

Home made cranberry/orange scones for tea

DOTS

Handles of silverware

STRIPES

The boards on the barn make  nice stripes

Several different stripes on this fence with Clematis

June Scavenger Hunt

We have all month to  gather photos for this scavenger hunt - the end of the month is near - let's see how far I got.

At least 60 Allium in this field

He was watching us for a long time before I discovered him, I was taking photos of other horses in the field and all he time he was standing under a tree watching me.

Flicker eye

Cat eyes - our  neighbor's cat likes to sit in their flower pots.

ANIMAL

ARCHITECTURAL DETAIL

I love windows on old buildings

And newly refurbished buildings

And old sheds

RING

Napkins rings - shall we have fish for dinner?

Flower Pot napkin ring - just the thing for summer luncheon

An altar made by cousins and a friend when we all went camping together in Central Oregon.

LIGHT

Sunlight - on a very foggy day - this is not a B&W photo - it was just very foggy and gray that day.

The tree captured the sun!

Sunset over Bellingham from the top of Alabama Hill

Fairy light in the woods - this is one of my all time favorite photos

Sunlight in the trees at Lake Paden

ROOFTOPS

Rooftops behind a Heron - in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham

ICE CREAM

Ben - eating a big ice cream cone at the fair

Jahn-Zyel with an ice cream  bar at the fair (these were taken a few years ago - but I couldn't resist showing the two cute boys)

Ice cream cone sign in Birch Bay - and you think you can resist?  Just try.

TOMBSTONE

I didn't get a picture of a tombstone - but thought I'd show you my pretty pansy painted metal flower pots

ART

Pressing pansies for decoupage - note cards, candles, napkin rings, birdhouses for centerpieces

Weekly Top Shot

Doo, Doo, Doo, Lookin' Out My Back Door

Well actually it is my front door - but this has been my view this week while I spent time recovering from a summer cold.

Scavenger Hunts - here and there

I found a new scavenger hunt - I love these things - they help me look at things differently and how see how different our interpretations can be.

YELLOW

Sunrise in the winter, over Mt. Baker

Cottonwood leaves in Autumn

SOMETHING IN THE SKY

The moon with no magnification

And up close with my camera that zooms to 140X

A DRINK

Seagulls drinking from a pond in the parking lot at Birch Bay State Park

A PHONE THAT IS NOT A CELL PHONE

Our youngest daughter talking to Grandma.  She is now 43 - our daughter, not her Grandma

SOMETHING SYMBOLIZING SERVICE

I was stumped on this one - until I thought about the service we get in a restaurant.

A SMILE

Ben took this photo of his Grampy

Donnie learning to say "cheese" for photos.  Could he be any cuter?
