The Barn Collective

On a sunny day a while back we set out to find barns - and mountains - since it was clear - and we did find both
Barns and Mt. Baker

And farms in front of the Sisters - magnificent mountains!

What fabulous backdrops for your Washington barns JoAnn. Thanks for sharing the sights in your next of the woods. I'm hoping that there's more out there for to sharing.

I often think if I had to choose some place besides Tennessee as my home state, that Washington would be right up there among the top choices...love these.

Sensational! I am curious as to what the upper floor looks like on the inside.

Mt Baker is so majestic and perfect that it sometimes doesn't look real in the background. I love the big barns you see where you live. Enjoy your evening my friend. Sweet hugs, Diane

A grand barn and the leading line of the silo to the mountain peak is perfect.

What a gorgeous spot to buy farmland and build your barn. I did not know about The Sisters, but that range is heavenly, too. These are beautiful structures all in such wonderful condition. I like the white framed windows in the pictures you took of that one barn. There is something about windows in a barn that is wonderful.

Beautiful barns...there must be a lot of farming in your area with the amount of barns you have show us. The barns look even more special with the mountains in the background.
Maybe spring is finally here...things are slowly greening up here on the prairie!

Very nice selection this week! The Sisters are quite lovely - more textured that the regal Mt. Baker.

I got to see bits of Mt. Baker last year when we visited Portland. I liked the countryside when we got away from the city much better. Nice capture of the barns.

I think you live in the very best place in the world to find mountains and barns together. And when blue sky is thrown into the mix - it's all wonderful!

Great barn! And beautiful snow capped mountains! There are peaks in Oregon too called Three Sisters.

Magnificent, indeed. What a view! There is something so classic about a beautiful red barn.

What precision! Your top photos look like paintings made with a t-square! Studies in geometric proportion!
