Vintage Charm Party

Tea with a friend, in rose teacups is always fun - do come in and sit a while
I have a child's tea set in the Moss Rose design

and recently I found these two full size teacups at the Habitat  for Humanity thrift store - for such a bargain I just couldn't pass them up.

Add a pretty bouquet of roses

A little nibble of chocolate adds
 happiness to a tea party

Stop in for a cup of tea anytime

It all looks so pretty and yummy! That's quite a score on the two teacups! I've never seen anything so nice at our H for H store. Love it! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm! We love seeing you. xo Kathleen

Wait until I can put a couple of dollies in a bag and I'll be right over. What beautiful tea cups and a lovely table. Wouldn't we have FUN? Sweet hugs, Diane

It would be a delight to sit and have a little tea party with you, JoAnn. I love your child's tea set and how serendipitous you found two grown up cups to match. I am always on the lookout for a child's tea set but never seem to find one....perhaps one day. Your tablescape looks so pretty.

What a find! Grown-up sized tea cups!
I recently combed through our Goodwill and didn't find any treasures like you do. I found a few things to bring home but I guess we're too remote to warrant nice cups or dishes. And the Habitat for Humanity store is mostly furniture and building materials. {{sigh}}

It all looks lovely, I could just do with some of that!

Hi Jo Ann! Oh, what a love little tea pot and the setting looks so pretty. Again, I love the spiffing up of your snaps! You're very clever. Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

The sets are so pretty. Did you find the saucers with the cups? Wonderful. A friend of mine recently marries and I got her the Royal Albert tea set--well two cups and the teapot so when I visit her we can act respectable. She lives in South dakota so I don't know when I'll get there.

JoAnn!!!

I just checked into my blog for the first time in ages and ages, and I saw a couple of sweet notes from you. xoxoxo

I hope you are doing well and enjoying life. Things here are still not finished, and I haven't felt like blogging about it. I guess I am tuckered out, and I just can't report on the slooooow progress on our house. That being said, I am gaining my strength back and feeling better, though I was sick for a month with what I think was an allergy. No fever, but I coughed like a maniac and lost my voice for a bit. Good excuse to listen and not talk so much! ;-)

I loved this pretty post, and I have missed your photography so much. It seems that the world of blogs has undergone a radical change since we all started years ago, but if it is still going, I hope to come back when my life settles down a bit. Please let's stay in touch.

Love to you and all good wishes for a blessed spring!

What a love fest of beauty! A much livelier image than the settings with pink roses. Each one sets its own mood. The pinks are soft and gentle - reds are perky and pop right off the table!
