A Favorite Thing

I love to embroider - I love dishtowels - I love birdies - so here are some of my favorite things.

Embroidered day-of-the-week dishtowels - with birdies

I started these in January and worked on them a bit most every day - and now they are done.

The fabric is diaper fabric I got from JoAnn Fabrics - it makes the most absorbent dishtowels - I have a bolt of it.

Holy smokes JoAnn, those are the sweetest things in the world! If I managed to do something like that I'd end up framing it. Seriously! They look like magical little works of art. If anyone came near them with tomato sauce I think I'd scream. Good for you to be able to do lovely things like this. :)

Birdie embroidery -- perfect! I love the whimsical designs -- are they vintage patterns? So cute and you did a beautiful job.

Those are adorable - there is an innocence to them that I just love. I didn't know that diaper cloth is available at Jo-Ann's. I'm going to have a look when I'm down your way later in the month.

These are just precious and I would use them every day just so I could see and touch them.

Aren't these just the cutest!?! The designs seem very vintage. You've accomplished a lot of beautiful work here. I'd be reluctant to use them for fear I'd stain or ruin them somehow.

My Grandmother and Mom always had tea towels like yours. They made smile. Dottie

Your towles are lovely. Unfortunately, a day has too less hours to do all the things I'd like to. Have a nice week. Regula
