Sunflowers

Looking back at the last of the sunny summer days
The end of summer always brings out the sunflowers.  Such bright happiness!!

Every summer we enjoy this small field of sunflowers out on the Skagit Flats

How is your summer ending?  We are having buckets of rain - sometimes it is so loud on the skylights we can't hear each other talk from across the room.  Cozy weather for soups and stews and apple pie, and bouquets of sunflowers.

Oh, JO - so good to hear from you again! Summer has been crazy busy for us, with G's fishing trip this week, then one more trip to Alberta to see the kids and grands, and we actually stay home for a whole month!!!! And, yes, the rains have come here too!

Hello, love the sunflowers. They are beautiful, my favorite summer flower.
We are seeing some field of sunflowers here too, very pretty. Enjoy your day and week ahead.

When I walked past the pre-school garden with Nikko this morning, all the sunflowers were finished with their heads hanging down. It is nice to see your pictures. We have a week of rain predicted, but today is sunny and hot ... and we don't need more humidity.
