Flicker and Flowers

Summer is over - the last of the nasturtiums - just as the torrential rains began.

And our flickers continue to visit the suet feeders.

Feel free to send some of that rain my way! Beautiful flicker shot.

I love the blue sky in the main picture. That looks like our winters. Today was a wee bit cooler in the morning and evening but the afternoon was hot and humid. Even in the classroom with the AC on, I could feel the heat coming through the glass of the big windows. now it is evening and more moisture falling from the sky. I haven't set out our suet feeders yet. I always pick up some blocks when I visit the states.

How sad....summer is over. At least you will enjoy all the glorious hues of Fall before the dreaded Winter arrives. I am looking forward to photos of all those gloriously hued Fall trees that you will capture with your camera.
