Saturday's Critters

A junvenile Northern Flicker has been visiting the suet feeder lately.

And a juvenile Downey Woodpecker.  I heard it in the woods for a few days and then it got brave and decided to come visit.

 The winter Starlings are back.
 They line the wires
All facing in the same direction

Incoming!!

Hello, I love the cute juvenile Flicker. The Downy Woodpecker is another favorite of mine. WOW, that is a lot of starlings. I would not like to feed them if they should up in my yard. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Beautiful portraits of the two juveniles -- you have a great cafe' for them!! I've seen both birds here and in Florida, but don't think ever the juvies ... i wish I could. And oh my gosh, that's a lot of starlings and they look like they all march to the same drummer!

And I thought WE had a lot of starlings!
I've been considering putting up a hummingbird feeder this fall. Your bird feeder has me thinking about suet, too. Such great opportunities for closeup bird shots. Yours here are wonderful.
