Weekly Top Shot # 19 - Ski or Sit a While

Driving along the Mt. Baker hiway there is a place where vendors in the summer set up stands for flowers and for fruit and vegetables. On romantic holidays you will see a vendor out there, rain or shine, with bouquets of roses. But this is the most interesting vendor we've seen so far, and clever too. Everything is made out of old skis. His overhead isn't much, he said people are often happy to have him take their old skis off their hands so they don't have to dispose of them. The chairs are comfy, besides being bright and cheery.

Those are so great. I posted a picture of a fence made out of skis that I captured while on a trip out of town. I didn't know there were so many things that could be done with retired skis.
