My vest is reversible - I borrowed Poppy's purse to go with the vest

Pumpkin Hats for everyone!
I'm Poppy - my collar and my purse have Halloween polka dots.
I'm Sally Jo - I have pretty new shoes and socks.

 Poppy has new shoes too
And nooooooooow - presenting
The Candy Corn Witches!!!
We are all dressed in our new costumes - Candy Corn hats and dresses

Wait - there is something missing
Our vests with gold bows - aren't they fine?
And our masks - so you can't tell who we are! Hey - is there someone behind us?
 Is it spooooooooky?
Come out - come out - whoever you are!!!
 Oh - it's not spooky
It is our new brother Donnie, in his Zorro Halloween costume.  Don't you just love a Halloween surprise??!!??

Donnie - did you know that Zorro wears sneakers?

Let's go trick-or-treating! Donnie can carry the Pumpkin for our treats.

Tuesday's Treasures

I used bits and pieces of different patterns to make the costumes.  It was fun, with lots of trial and error.   When Don was 7 he thought Zorro was the greatest  and wanted a Zorro costume.

Oh my goodness! You've outdone yourself this week! WHAT FUN!!! And SO SO SCARY! The candy corn hats and the dresses with tiers are precious! And all of the pretty fabric and purses to match...oh my! I better not let my dolls see what yours are wearing this week, they will feel pitiful! And Donnie....how CUTE is he?!! You really used your imagination for these and they are all beautiful. (Did I know you had a boy doll? hhhmmmmm!) Happy Halloween to your kids from mine! Halloween Hugs, Diane

Those pumpkin hats are adorable! But then I saw the Candy Corn Witches -- even MORE adorable! I like the dark contrast of the black vests and masks to offset all that yellow, white and orange.

Absolutely beyond adorable. You have outdone yourself!

My husband is a corporate guy by day and blacksmith by night/weekends/holidays.....I wonder if he'd make a cute little sword for brother dearest! : - )

I will ask him - let's see what he says and I will get back to you.

Keep up the festive good work - this is ADORABLE!

Hi JoAnn! I'm not a Halloween person but I like your dolls. The outfits you made for them are really cute: Three adorable pumpkins girls who can turn into candy corn and remain totally adorable.
Have fun!

Oh My! You have been very busy creating so many adorable costumes, I love the candy corn dresses with the contrasting black vests and the black rickrack trim. The matching candy corn hats with the sweet little black trick or treat masks tops off the their costumes perfectly! Abby is such a stunner in her little Halloween motif skirt and reversible vest, and my goodness the pumpkin hats are totally adorable. The girls costumes came out beautifully. You really must have been sewing day and night to get six, scratch that, seven costumes made up. I know how hard it is to wing it by mixing and matching pattern pieces to create the look you want, you did a wonderful job creating some of the prettiest costumes in pumpkin land.

Donnie looks so sweet in his Zorro costume, he is very handsome in his all black attire. What fun you are going to have sewing up clothes for Donnie too!

I hope the weather is nice for the kids to go trick or treating in your neighborhood. Don't let the wee ones eat too much of that Trick or Treat booty all at one time or they might end up with tummy aches!

Happy Halloween to you and the kids..... Candy

JoAnn, what to say!!! At first I thought Abby just had to be my most favorite and then came Poppy, Oh she's the one, then came Sally Jo and No, shes' the one. Then after the Witch Triplets and Donnie, I am in a quandry. They are all so just beautiful and so well styled. Love the pumpkin hats and all the clothes. What a fun hobby and you have got to be the best seamstress. Now I am hyperventilating over here. All just so darling for words!..Happy Halloween to your whole family..Judy
