My Birthday Brunch

My birthday was late last month - I'm just now getting around to posting the photos.
I had the spring centerpiece on the table so decided to use my jadeite dishes.
And cute pink and green checked napkins.  I got them at a thrift store that same week.  The hems are tiny and delicate - and hand stitched - and the rick rack is hand stitched on too.
I love the vintage 50s glasses for spring, their colors remind me of easter eggs.

It was a lovely brunch but I forgot to take photos of the food - we must have been very hungry.
The hyacinths on the deck are still blooming (they've been in flower for over a month now) and the scent carries down to the parking area so you smell them as soon as you get out of the car.

I shall have hyacinths every spring.
And a big pot of Johnny-Jump-Ups from our daughter and family - one of my favorite spring flowers

And two of my tulips are blooming - the package said pink - I say orange sherbet.

Oh, I love all that Jadeite, reminds me of growing up...Mom had quite a bit of it. She especially liked her coffee out of one of the heavy mugs. The napkins are a treasure.
Your hyacinths are gorgeous, I can almost get a faint whiff of their scent!

Happy Birthday! Your table is (typically!) charming! Your thrift shop finds look right at home on that pretty pastel plaid tablecloth. Everything's so springy and fresh!
Lovely flower shots too - especially the tulips! Hmmm.....I'll go with "orange sherbet" too!

Happy belated birthday! Hand-hemmed napkins with hand-stitched rick-rack? They must be very old! I've loved Johnny-Jump-Ups ever since I was a little girl.

I think I am living in the wrong place. We have gone from cherry blossoms back to winter. Your table looks so inviting!

Happy belated Birthday JoAnn! Your Spring birthday brunch table is so charmingly lovely. The soft green of the Jadeite and the pastel hues of the glasses and napkins are perfect final touches. I love the hyacinths and the violas. I am so ready for Spring. We do have daffodils opening in the yard and the crocus are blooming too.
