Early Spring Tea - on a Winter's Day

Tea for one -  -  -  I've been a little under the weather and decided that a nice cup of tea would be great.  With spring coming on early in the Pacific Northwest it just seemed right to have a flowery tea
A hand painted teapot, cup and saucer
Pretty flowers for a hand painted tea set
It becomes a teacup and saucer - and a little teapot
Just right for an afternoon tea on a cool day.
Flowers always make a tea table so pretty.  .  .

Add a pretty hand crocheted tablecloth.  .  .
An embroidered napkin and a crystal napkin ring.  .  .
The perfect tea set for a spring cup of tea.

I like the way you brought us closer and closer and closer - and even closer! in so we can appreciate the subtle colors and admire that crocheted table cloth that you enjoy so much! I'm sorry you haven't felt well - hope this little spot of tea made things better!

An early spring sounds wonderful on this cold afternoon! Crocheted tablecloths always make me smile...so many loving hours put into them. They are so under-appreciated, but I buy them when I have a chance!
Have a great week, JoAnn.

Well, if that doesn't make you better, I don't know what will.

Hi Joann,
Your tea-for-one is very pretty. I have several sets of these. I found a lot of folks liked a different tea than someone else so I thought a tea-for-one set would give everyone their own pot of tea with a matching cup. They do come in handy when one is having company or just a simple cup of tea for yourself. A cup of tea always helps one feel better. Feel better soon and thanks for joining me for tea today.

Blessings,
Sandi

You surround yourself with beautiful things my friend. I hope you are feeling better this afternoon. I don't feel good because of allergies so a cup of hot tea would be nice. You should join the Roses of Inspiration today! Your post is perfect for that party. Sweet hugs, Diane

Such a pretty post. I would love to have tea with you.

I posted on Saturday about the Eagle Nest Tree--as I call it now. Remember last year it was full of Eagles and now it has a new nest---probable keep the other Eagles away. Fun to watch though.
Post your pics.

I love the exquisite pattern on your tea pot and cup! I'd love one just like it. I remember my great-aunt fixing me tea with honey one evening when she took care of my little brother and me. We had sore throats. If I remember clearly, it helped! I hope it does the trick for you.

Very sweet! I hope you're feeling better. These sunny days we've been having should help a little, if only for the sake of morale!
