5 in 5

Time again for 5 photos on the 5th, in 5 minutes - don't you just love this one?

My subject this time is a pot of flowers that I received as a Mother's Day gift from our oldest daughter and her family.
 1. Pretty petunias, pink and red, with a dark red, spiky grass, what a great combination!
2. A little Dragonfly stopped by for a visit.

 3. So many pretty flowers
4. The tiny pink Petunias (they called them "pot"tunias because they are grown especially for flower pots.
5. Sunshine, flowers and shadows on the deck.

What a lovely pot for Mother's Day, JoAnn. The colours are really striking and I love that a dragonfly popped by for a rest! Thank you for sharing and taking part this month. That pot certainly brightens the day!

I ended up buying petunias for the first time for the planter boxes on my new front deck at the cabin. Wanted pansies but they were all gone. Our nurseries pretty much shut down after the spring rush. - Margy

Very nice 5 in 5! Love the color red that the petunias are...I would love to have a car that color.

Hello JoAnn. I'm sure I left a comment the other day but can't see it here so maybe my mobile connection failed. Anyway, thank you for joining in this month's 5in5 and it is always lovely to have your company. The plant pot is a lovely Mother's Day gift, and those flowers are enough to brighten your day. Have a lovely month and enjoy the sunshine.
