Wedesday Wee Ones - Wardrobe Check

We've had such fun with Clara and all her friends - but now she is off on her trip over to Denmark.

We are on vacation in British Columbia this week (about 50 miles from our home, nice to have a foreign country so close by).  This post is a review of all the outfits I made for Clara to take with her to Denmark.
This was one of my favorite outfits to sew.  The little heart print on the skirt and blouse is a fabric from Julee.  Also the frog fabric, which had ladybugs on it whose spots went so well with the tiny hearts - and I had some ribbon with ladybug spots on it - perfect for the handle of the bag.  And the hearts on the shoes just finish the outfit.

Skirt with suspenders, blouse, frog vest and bag
Pants with lined jacket and matching bag - and a sunhat to coordinate for a summer jaunt
The hat and bag also go with the apron of busy bees
Bubble dresses - in pink and black print - and blue fairies
 Jungle print bag and sundress.
A jumper sundress with matching bag and white t-shirt

And the jammies - a nice coordinating set with robe, long jammies and baby dolls for summer slumber parties.

You've thought of everything for his wardrobe and it's all just precious. I love that heart fabric and the cute frogs. I see one outfit I want to try...the skirt with suspenders. It makes me think of 'back to school'. Everything is just darling! What FUN! dollie hugs from all of us here in Florida, Diane

I'd have felt like I'd died and gone to heaven if I had a doll with a wardrobe like that when I was a child. You made some gorgeous little outfits. What an incredible gift!
Hope you have/had a nice trip to B.C.

Oh my goodness......when Clara arrives at her new home, with that amazing wardrobe filled with gorgeousness....the little girl is going to have the biggest smile on her face. All the outfits are beautiful. I cannot pick a favourite. That sunhat is a delight and the polka dot ensemble, just magic. You are so very clever, both with the stitching and the co-ordination of the many pretty fabrics. Just beautiful.

It seems her suitcase will be larger than she is. Lovely fashion to model.

You make such beautiful doll clothes. My mom always made doll clothes for my dolls, and clothes for both of us. I didn't inherit the sewing gene however. - Margy
