The Barn Collective

The fence on this farm is very interesting
We had stopped at a self-service farm stand across the road from this barn.  The young girl and her horse came up to talk with us.
A refurbished barn - a rare sight in our area.  There are white curtains in the windows on the end so perhaps it is a craft area or work shop.
Looking farther down the hill we see a matching house - I love the way they've made the two buildings complement each other.
New roof and some equipment around the barn so it must still be used for something - although there are no farm animals on the property.

We have a few self service farm stands in a section of town called Paradise Valley. Our farms are small but offer quite a variety of produce and even farm gate locally grown meat in some places. - Margy

Self-service farms are one of the best especially when they are of reasonable sizes.
Thanks for taking us on tour with you. If you ever find what they do in those refurbished barns, let us know.
Have a lovely Sunday evening and a lovely week to come!

I love that third barn! I can see setting up a craft room behind those curtains.

Interesting barns. I am glad some are still used even if not for the original purpose.

Great barns again this week and I like the matching house. Did you see the little "barn" I blogged the other day?

Your pictures show the massive size of that lovely barn. Just love the "matching" house too!

You have the coolest old/new barns to photo. Not too many around my area that I've seen. Most of the barns are the newer metal buildings.
