Zoom In - Zoom Out - Sisters

We set out last Friday to see the Sisters Mountains.  There is a special pull-out along the highway that has an excellent view of the mountains.  It is one of my favorite spots to photograph them. And this day there was an Elderberry Bush in full bloom - right in front of the mountains.

I hope to go back when the red berries are covering the bush.

Two summers ago we went to the Sister's Quilt show. We drove from Portland to Grant's Pass where my #1 son lives and stopped in Sisters on the way back to Portland. The drive was spectacular with a picture perfect view at every turn of the road.

Those elderberries really pop out in the photo - almost as if they've been colorized. Very nice, and a beautiful view!

wonderful pairing and hope to see them again (through you) when they have berries

Lovely photo - the scenery is stunning. It will look great when the berries are on the bush especially if there is still snow on the mountain tops.

So beautiful and I would love to see the elderflower when it has it's fruit on. Great ZIZO.
