Weekly Top Shot

What better shot - than Mt Baker?  Snow is still melting, but it won't be long before snow flies on Mt. Baker again.  At 10,781 ft. (3,26 m), summer is very short on the mountain.

We often see a similar view from Canada.

Baker still has more snow than the Olympics that we can see. There are still touches of it here and here, but much of it has melted.

I've aways loved your mountain - I want one just like it in my back yard! Or, better still, I want to move to Bellingham.....really I do, and have wanted to for many years, love your area!

We were up Whidbey Island to LaConner last week and every time I had a glimpse of Baker I was amazed at all the snow. Thought there would be less with the warm summer we are having. Great photo.
