I think that is one of the blessings and gifts of this season , the decorations bring back to us so many special memories. Even the special food we serve, the games we play, the songs, the old movies. All give me a warm and happy heart, and even better, after all the busyness, time to reflect on so much and what matters.

Such a Merry and Bright post, highlighting the joys of your Christmas. Your grandson must have been amazed to see Santa dining out and how thrilling for him to be able to chat with him. Lovely tree filled with family memories, and your sweet teddy bear looks perfect in your kitchen...good to see a bear is busy stirring things up. Delightful table as usual :) A very Happy New Year to you and your family.

Wonderful, wonderful way to keep Christmas alive until the end of the year! I'm having a hard time letting go, I guess! This post has all the lights and sparkle and joy of the season! Of course, that little Donnie (the "real" one - not the one with the new pony!) just lights up the world well beyond anything you can plug in! But, dear grandma, I don't think you need anyone telling you that!

Ah, a final toast to Christmas 2015! I trust you have it all put away now and are ready to launch the new year. You inspired me to get on it and get things stowed. I mostly managed though there were still a few things to tidy up today. (I do love it all but I find it gets very chaotic by the time all's said and done. It's a relief to get it - sort of - under control again!)
