Scavenger Hunt Sunday

  •  Time
Spring time and the Mallards are back - they doodle around in the muck beside the road to our house every spring

  •  On My Plate
Cupcakes - perfect for spring

  •  Animal
Kingfisher - waiting for lunch

  • Negative Space

  •  Photographer’s Choice
A pear shaped pincushion, made for me by my friend Linda - it is weighed in the bottom and is my favorite pincushion.  Noticed how my grandson Ben sorted the pins by color and style.

Another set of awesome photos! My favorite this time is the negative space...

Ben must have had fun with your pin cushion. Especially wonderful moon shot, too.
We've had well over 2" of rain today! We've got lots and lots of standing water around our house, similar to flooding we had in 2011 (no happy memories there!).

Interesting shot of the cupcakes through the cut glass cake lid.

As usual JoAnn, each of your photographs is a talking point.

I'd forgotten about those pincushions! I had made several of them, and they are cute. Thanks for sharing, cuz I don't get around to reading blogs much anymore.

Wow, that kingfisher is cool, as are all your other photos too!

That's a really nice pincushion! Never seen a pear-shaped one before.
Love the moon photo.
Cupcakes sound good right now. :)
Have a great week!

I love the negative space shot, the moon looks huge in the foreground almost as if you could reach out and touch it and the pin cushion placed on the old sewing machine is picture perfect for a quilters sewing space (it looks like it is ready for you to sit down and start stitching up your blocks at any moment).
