Don surprised me with a lovely bouquet of yellow daisies - not really a surprise, as he brings me flowers all the time, I'm lucky that way.
The textures are wonderful in black and white
And in color - such pretty flowers to brighten up my day

When something is as pretty a color as these I don't usually think of trying it in black and white. This works so beautifully that way. I suppose that's part of the grace of a fresh flower. These are great shots.

Just love that burst of pink on your header! We sooo need that around here! I guess that's why your black and white shots didn't "speak to me" as they usually do! I'm so tired of grey and white!
