Black and White Wednesday

Don surprised me with a lovely bouquet of yellow daisies - not really a surprise, as he brings me flowers all the time, I'm lucky that way.
The textures are wonderful in black and white

And in color - such pretty flowers to brighten up my day

Amazing to see two pictures the same; yet so very different. Both have their good qualities. Love both the Black and White and the full color. They do make you feel different looking at each of them separately.

Textures are splendid, a very soft feel to your captures, lovely petals.

How thoughtful! The daisies are beautiful.

The absence of color really shows off texture and shape. Enjoy the daisies!

When something is as pretty a color as these I don't usually think of trying it in black and white. This works so beautifully that way. I suppose that's part of the grace of a fresh flower. These are great shots.

Thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog. I love the flower shots and also the header of the beautiful heron is great.

Just love that burst of pink on your header! We sooo need that around here! I guess that's why your black and white shots didn't "speak to me" as they usually do! I'm so tired of grey and white! Love the burst of yellow, too....and Don's sweet gesture of presenting his lady with flowers after many years together!

Love how the detail of the center - the star shape of the little dots - stands out in b/w! Thanks for linking up!
