Bath Time

Not long ago I caught these two seagulls taking their baths
Going under
Coming up
Shake off that water
Dive
Squiggle
Wiggle
Splash
Backwards - get all those feathers clean
Ahhh, that's better
Excuse me goose, do you mind?  This beach is taken.

You got some great shots, JoAnn! It must be wonderful living so close to where there is so much waterfowl. I am jealous!
Have a nice weekend.

What a great sequence of photos. We've watched gulls bathing - it's very entertaining, isn't it?

I love how you've caught the drops of flying water. And I can't imagine trying to bathe outdoors in that cold, cold water. No, thank you! (And I'm mightily impressed: 126 birds on your list! Good for you to remember so many!)
