Black and White Wednesday - Barns

Tom the Backroads Traveller has posted barns in black and white and I liked it so much that I thought I'd try some.
These are some of my favorite barns from past posts - but with such a different look

It is always nice seeing your collection of barns, whether they are in color or B&W. Great series, enjoy your day!

I used to love black and white developing back in the days you had to use all those chemicals. I used the high school lab during adult education classes. Now it's so simple with digital. - Margy

I'm a fan of red barns, but these are great. Old barns like the second one look good in B&W. Thanks for linking up, I hope to see again. Tom The Backroads Traveller

Black and white photos like these lets the eye focus differently. The lines and structure become more important. Great adaptations of your color photos.

Nice! They work! I think I like the last three best.

It's true, seeing them in black and white gives a much different perspective than in colour.
Thanks for stopping by in Normandy today

Beautiful B&W renditions!

When you show them in black and white, they have an 1800s aura about them!

Love the black and white but also the color. Playing catch up again. Seagulls are such characters and you have caught that in your photos. Love those cows too! Cloudy here this morning but still no rain.

I recognize many of those even without the color.

It is amazing how different pictures look in B&W isn't it, you see far more of the texture of things and the shapes I think. xx

Love black and white barns. I do remember a time when that's all we had. Now we take color for granted.

Beautiful barns! I like the black and white version for a change but I bet some of them are red. :)
