Mt. Baker on a Blue Monday

I love all the "blues" over at Smiling Sally's - so many pretty photos - stop over and visit the sites.
Mt. Baker with clouds on the peak.
The snow isn't very deep for this time of the year - we depend on the mountain snows for our water supply.

Not far from Mt. Baker are The Sisters - beautiful mountains, summer or winter

Wow! Just came from the pretty pastel warmth of your apple blossoms to this striking view of stark cold and ice! Your pinks are so "pink" and your blues are so electrifying! What a contrast you have at hand in the bounty of nature!

Such beautiful mountains! Our Rocky Mountains also had less snow pack than usual this winter, but we recently had a storm that brought 3 feet of snow so that was helpful.

Nice to see the snow; when so many other places are in a drought. We need the water; from the melting snow. Pretty pictures!

Surprisingly we got some snow in the high country around us last week. But after a few warm days it was all gone except the thin coating on the upper peaks. I know what you mean about not enough snow pack. Hope we get some extra rain to make up for it this summer. - Margy

Absolutely beautiful!!!! We have only smallish (by comparison) mountains here in our part of the world. Thankfully we get our water from the rain than keeps on coming and coming in the spring. Had a big thunderstorm with LOTs of rain again last night.

Gorgeous views! *deep sighs of admiration and envy*
We don't have any mountains here. I so wish we had!
Also the apple blossoms of your previous post are wonderful.
Thank you for sharing. Have a lovely week!

Your peaks are so different from the Olympics - much sharper and more dramatic. Our weather was so nice for a few days there; I think I got spoiled. Today cured me of any expectations of a warming trend! Gale force winds and rain squalls. (And it was one of the few days I've been free to take pictures, too. Drat.)

Gorgeous shares! Love that Sisters range. So lovely and the views have to be just spectacular. My friend Linda at Prairie Flower Farm is from Alaska. She lives, these days, on a farm in Kansas. A cheerful share here and always nice to visit everyone and say hello. Have a good week and thanks for sharing.
