Mosaic Monday - Summer

We are having one of the most glorious summers we've had since moving to Washington 13 years ago - it is warm and sunny almost every day
A summer of boats and water
Shady yards and swings in the trees
 Chickens in the barnyard
A summer of farms and ponds
A visit to West Virginia - and pretty birds
 Poppies
 And roses
 Clouds
 And Great Blue Herons
 Fields of flowers
 And fields of hay
 Dandelions and wishes
A summer of horses
Wild Sweet Peas alongside the roads
 And poppies
It is a summer of memories - and more summer to come

Your mosaic is a stunning reminder of how blessed we are to live in this beautiful country. Words from the beloved song, "America, America" have entered my mind this morning and will probably remain there all day long - a very good thing!

So many gorgeous mosaics of summer and when I went through them again, I'd have to say the poppies are my favourite.
Can you let me know what program you used for the layered mosaics please? I've been trying to find something similar I used in the past.
Thank you for linking to MM JoAnn.

Your mosaics of Summer in Washington are simply 'out of this world' Joann!
From the sailing dinghies to your floral displays, the clouds in the sky that only summer days bring - give me hope that where I am 'down under' Summer will visit us again one day!
The field of dandelions is very special.
Lovely to meet up again at MM Joann.
Hugs

I can see that you've had plenty of beautiful things to appreciate this summer. I like how you created your collages. I can imagine the last one as a large poster!

This is absolutely glorious, Jo! Breathtakingly beautiful!

I have really missed you. And I am thrilled to see this post. We are not quite as pleasant in temps here. It is just plain out hot today, but the sun is shining gloriously. We had a storm the other day that rattled the trees to beat the band! So everything that was loose aka palm fronds are down along with the last of my crape myrtle blooms. I spy berries on the chinaberry as I look out the window so that signals fall is nigh. Wish you could see the sun here today... It is so bright and the green on the trees look golden, instead.

Good to see you! Sending you much love across the miles!
