My friend used to have two donkeys - mother and son. Eventually both died and the vet thought they had died from ragwort poisoning, which they had eaten before she even got them. It is a lethal weed - I don't know whether you have it over there.

When I was in elementary school my best friend had a donkey. I was jealous until we tried to ride it. That was one nasty critter. By the way, I lost contact with her over the last forty years and have been searching online for quite a while. I just connected with her on Facebook. It's funny how life pulls people apart and then can bring them back together again. - Margy

Oh, yes! This one's very cute! I know where one lives around here and always look for it when I drive by.

What a sweetheart. You must have a bumper sticker that says "caution, I brake for photos" !

This little donkey is so cute, what a sweetheart. I would have been taking a picture of this fella too.

I hope to get a couple if we actually ever find land. They're good for keeping coyote's away and protecting other livestock.
I 'm thinking of naming them George and Harriet. Well that's the names I choose today. LOL
