Summer Dinner Party

With the nice summer weather, comes dinner parties on the deck.  Small or large - they are always fun.  Before our Autumn rains began, a special friend shared a summer dinner with us.

A lighthouse theme - with a sunflower tablecloth.  The lighthouse dishes get a lot of use in the summer.

Sailboat napkin holders and checked napkins
Salad and grilled chicken - perfect summer dining
Sunflowers to match the tablecloth - Thank you Karen
 Seasoned grilled potatoes
And grilled chicken

I love sunflowers. They are really at their most beautiful at the end of the summer. Love the pretty lighthouses too. Wish I was there for some grilled chicken...my favorite! Sweet hugs, Diane

JoAnn - simply mouthwatering - the chicken especially has me salivating. The sailboat napkin holders are so cute!!! We may get a bit of Indian summer here in Montana, but the weather has definitely turned fall-ish with highs in the 50s and RAIN! So thankful for the rain ...

Who needs to get a house-beautiful magazine when we can see beautiful table settings on your blog?

Outstanding! The blue gingham and sunflower tablecloth makes perfect background to set out this late summer buffet. The vase of sunflowers and the lighthouse dinnerware make a great setting for serving heaps of chicken fresh off the grill. All of the fixings look so tasty too. Where did you find the sailboat napkin rings? They look like they are sailing across a checkered sea.

I saw your new post on my way over to read this one. I am heading over there now. I love roosters!

Have a great day,
Hugs
Candy
