Random 5 Friday

We have had an unbelievable amount of rain lately - even for the Pacific Northwest - and the temperatures have been cool, downright chilly.  The past two days I have had to turn on the furnace to take the chill off the house and I sit here with a blanket over my lap - but tomorrow - tomorrow the sun returns and they are promising reporting  saying predicting   thinking that it will get up to 73 - and I sure hope so.  So I'd like to show five wonderful things about our spring - this rain has surely been good for the plants - and when we've had a bit of sunshine it has been glorious.

1. Bees in flowers

2. Yellow lilies and Blue Bell Flowers

3. Trees in full  leaf and sunshine above

4. Honeysuckle in full bloom - and wondrous scent

5. Boats sailing in the sunlit waters of Bellingham Bay

And a bonus photo of the moon on a clear night

Just so lovely, we are meant to get a lot of rain tomorrow, thats why all the washing is on the line today.

You certainly live in a beautiful place JoAnn. I have been to Vancouver a couple of times and also spent a week on Vancouver Island. I love the area - the clarity of the light and the clear air. Lucky you.

Great photos! Love the honeysuckle and the sailboat!
Last week I turned the furnace on a couple times...this week it was the air conditioner. Crazy weather.

Such wonderful photos, JoAnn! I love them all, but am especially partial to the one with the bee on flower. And the scent of honeysuckle is indeed wondrous! :)

Beautiful photos, I love the bee. I wish we could average out our area's temperatures and both have more ideal climate.

Beautiful pictures. I hope you get your warm temps. It finally got hot here but they say it won't last.
