Catching the Light

We had an unusually rainy spring in the PNW - and now starting off summer with rain - so it is hard to catch the light - but I caught some - driving down a country road in search of foxgloves to photograph - I snapped this shot - no, I was not driving.

The green is almost overwhelming - the rain is how NW Washington stays this green.

Happy Summer Days

A lovely road! I love the green and how it hugs the road. We've had a lot of rain around here, too (in Virginia) and things have stayed green for longer than usual.

Linda essa estrada rodeada de árvores frondosas! Aqui também choveu durante meses e meses, mas agora o verão chegou. Abraços Ailime

I love this kind of photograph JpAnn because the road takes you into a scene and you have no idea what lies beyond the horizon. Lovely - lots of rain but lots of lovely greens, so worth it.

We just got back from a road trip - I was happy to get back to the familiar roads like this one (though there were some beautiful ones in Oregon, too). And it rained at our destination, too!
