Snow Geese - in action

One of the most spectacular things you can ever hope to see - and hear - is hundreds and hundreds of Snow Geese taking off. Sometimes something will frighten them and they will take off, and sometimes for no reason apparent to us, up they will go, circle around and land again. There aren't words to describe it - overwhelming - magnificent - spiritual communing - those are just a few, and seem so inadequate.

Click to enlarge the photos - makes them even better!!

What a blessing - no other word seems appropriate!
There are so many everyday miracles, and it seems that you were right in the middle of one. I enlarged some of the photos and they were amazing. What a thrill it must have been to be in the midst of something so spectacular!

An amazing sight to behold and you were lucky to see it unfold right before your eyes! I can just imagine the sounds and the feel of it all. I adore that last one of the little guy coming in for a landing. ~Lili
