Tea and Apple Tart

My pumpkin and scarecrow teapot is perfect for an Autumn tea.  I think Autumn is one of the best seasons for a cup of tea, along with winter, spring and summer.  Tea is good anytime.

The Blueberry Picnic checked cups and saucers match the scarecrow
Let's make an apple tart. I just couldn't resist making one - after all, Washington is famous for apples.

The autumn tablecloth makes a festive background for our tea party.
I have a complete set of these dishes - they are one of my favorites.  They are by Nova Studio and also come in lavender and green checks.

Have a slice of apple tart - I'll be serving my new favorite tea, Pomegranate Pizazz.
A lace tablecloth with a pale blue under cloth also goes well with our tea setting today.  I can't decide which one to finally use.  Will you help me pick please.

Help yourself to a cup of tea and a slice of apple tart.

I'm partial to the lace over blue cloth. Blue is such a great complement to orange. The pumpkin teapot is just right for this season. I'll have a little slice of that apple tart, please.

That looks so cheerful for some of the shorter Fall days. It's even cloudy here today for a change. I love the crochet tablecloth and always love lots of blues! Enjoy your day sweet friend. See you Wednesday! Hugs, Diane

JoAnn - such beautiful table settings. The scalloped dish you used for the tart is very interesting and I am impressed with the crust on the tart - clearly hand-made with love! I vote for the lace tablecloth with the blue undercloth. Very dainty and perfect for tea! Have a super week!

Oh I do like that teapot a lot & the blue gingham is a perfect setting for it. For my Autumn table setting both in table cloth & dishes I went with leaves in shades of red, bronze & brown. I am not a Halloween fan or the colour orange. For my ceramic pumpkin I put purple & burgundy flowers in it.

Great teapot. I'm sitting here having a cup of tea this morning. I usually have coffee, but I came to town alone for the Garden Club last night. Seemed like too much work to make coffee for one. - Margy
