Watermelon Table

We had a lovely - though rainy - Memorial Day barbecue.  The deck umbrella was set up over the grill and we ate indoors - and had a grand time with family.
I love watermelon themed dishes, serving trays and baskets shaped like watermelon slices
This is as much food - condiments and relishes - that I got photos of - by the time we had the rest of the food on the table I forgot to take photos - again - and we ate it all up
I discovered this watermelon basket at Value Village - and found out that it once came with flowers from FTD.  I'm happy to have it - it is one of my favorite summer pieces
Watermelon three compartment dish - and Swanky Swigs vintage watermelon glasses
Blue gingham plates are perfect for the table
The table runner with ants carrying off watermelon slices was another Value Village treasure

And the Hawaiian Shirt dessert dishes - they always get compliments

It was a wonderful barbecue - burgers, bratwurst, hot dogs, steaks and chicken - as well as delicious salads and fruit - and the rain cleared up later and the grandsons got to spend some time outdoors.

CUTE! I know everyone shows up at your parties already in a great mood, but if they didn't, well, one look at this darling table would cure them of anything!
