Gorgeous! I am waiting for mine...they are still at least a week away, maybe a little more.

I was just thinking about my dear mother and then I saw this picture! Peonies were her favorite flower and she had so many of them alongside her house. Before she died, she insisted we transplant some of them at our house. I am so glad we did. It's too early for them here, but the sight of those huge, fluffy pink blooms always remind me of her and how much she enjoyed them!

No more need be said. This one is a beauty. Does it have a scent?
I planted five peonies last year. Four came up but were too young to bloom. This year all five have come up and look vigorous. I suspect they won't bloom this year either but it's something I'm really looking forward to.

The deer ate all of mine - thanks for the gorgeous view of yours - that's as close as I'll get to the real thing! Beautiful!

What a big beautiful bloom! I always think of this as a summertime flower...how nice to have it blooming now! Happy May my friend. I hope this month is extra happy for both of us. Sweet hugs, Diane

Peonies are so pretty and full. The only thing I never liked when I lived in Missouri is they always seemed to have big ants on them.

I like how you did your header picture. Nice
