Mosaic Monday

Northwest Washington is covered in flowers - the flowering shrubs are beyond beautiful this year - everywhere you turn, another flower.  We took a long ride this weekend and it was like driving through a flower wonderland.
 Clematis on a nice trellis

Another Clematis - climbing a trellis on the same house
Lace Cap - a little early this year
The most amazing Dogwood Tree I've ever seen

Rhododendrons of all colors are in full bloom now
And Golden Chain trees are everywhere
Sweet faced pansies fill in around trees and shrubs
The Pink Dogwoods are lush and beautiful this year

Irises are starting to bloom early
And Wisteria's beauty and scent bring back sweet memories

Millions of dandelions have gone to wishes
And Flowering Wild Currant - a perfect way to end our trip

JoAnn, these are gorgeous photos of the spring blossoms in your area. So beautiful! May I ask what program you use for the mosaic of the iris blooms? Have a beautiful week! Blessings, Pam

Oh to see even one of these flowers or trees out over here - our spring is so much delayed this year.

Oh my! Those ARE the most beautiful dogwoods I've ever seen. You really have a lot blooming right now and it still seems so early. Thank you JoAnn for your sweet notes and words of encouragement. You always make me feel better no matter what I'm going through. Sweet hugs, Diane

Hi Jo,
When I was a little girl, we moved to a house on i/3 of an acre with no trees on it. My mother took my crayon box, and a garden catalog. She designed an Oriental garden based on how the colors of the trees would look together in the spring. The little trees came through the mail and were duly planted. She lived 21 years in that house and got to see her vision come to fruition.
Your beautiful photos reminded me of all this today.

I don't think I have seen so many flowers in bloom all at once...these pictures are amazing.

You found some spectacular scenes, JoAnn! That dogwood is truly, truly gorgeous! But then, everything else is, too. Love the clematis. And I've been surprised to see how many iris are already in bloom. Hooray for spring!

JoAnn, you have the perfect weather to grow so many things we can't. That's the first time I've seen a close up of wisteria and I can't even imagine the scent it has.
Isn't the first clematis beautiful! Mine are little sprouts about 3" high so far, many things died back to the ground after our cold winter.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday.

Oh, what a treat! Our neighborhood has lots of dogwoods but since they pruned them in the fall there are hardly as many blooms as there are trees in total. Makes me wonder why they bothered to plant that variety in the first place. Azaleas are blooming now and dandelions too. Your pictures make me a wee bit homesick for the States.

Just beautiful. Our weather has been so strange. One day 70+ and now so cold. But I am not complaining one little bit. On the cold days I recuperate from all the yard work I do on the warm days. Ha!

What wonderful photos. I love the blooms. Spring is certainly upon us. What app are you using for the mosaics. I love the rounded corners in the vignettes.

I can almost smell the subtle fragrance of these blossoms! Beautiful! I love the clematis. We had such a pretty blue one at our front door at our first house. Every neighbor commented on it. When we moved, I made a cutting but it never thrived here. After a year or so, our plant at the first house was no longer seen. I wonder if it died from missing us, or if the new owners never took care of it!

They are all so beautiful. Lace Caps, is something I am not familiar with. I will have to try to find some. I like their leaves.
