December Scavenger Hunt

Where you stood

On the edge of a pond

Down low
Looking for a tasty morsel

A view from here
Great View for fishing
It is like being in a snow globe when the Snow Geese take off - thousands of them circling above
A favorite thing
Our grandson's holiday concert - Ben is second row - second from the right

Front door
This cute fella hangs on our front door every Christmas - I found him in a store in West Virginia, the year our son and daughter-in-law got married

Christmas
Wreaths that hang on the outside of the windows
Decoration
Don bought this for me one year when I was recovering from surgery - it sat in the living room with me that year so I could see it.  Now it goes outdoors to share holiday cheer with the neighbors

Our son made this Santa jar in second grade - each year we fill it with Chex Party Mix

More fantastic photos! I love the one of the snow geese on the fly...and the blue heron. You must live in the ideal area to get so many great shots of waterfowl.
Happy New Year, JoAnn!

JoAnn, those shots of the heron in your header at simply gorgeous as are all of them. Ben looks so cute in his singing group. I remember those pictures and times well. I just looked back at your doll post (where was I). I read someplace about a little girl that loved two dolls and almost lost one so I'm glad to see that the grown up girl still enjoys playing with dolls (I have the same problem!!) Happy New Year..Judy

Oh Oh……Christmas….with JoAnn…..how FABULOUS!!! I just can not believe how grown up Ben has gotten. I've always loved seeing the kiddies in their Christmas programs.

Just wanted to come over and wish you and Don a Happy New Year!!

JoAnn, I loved seeing all of these photos, and each are perfect for their category. :-)

I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. And my mother and I used to make party mix every year, and it was just for me. I hoarded it. Thankfully, she made a separate tin of it for my father and sister. ;-)

Happy New Year!!!!!

Well, Ben of course! He's the cutest! But that close up of the moon is amazing. It looks like a giant snowball ornament!

Oh, my! Ben is growing up, isn't he? I'm not sure I'd have recognized him in your shot!
Another great series!
