These photos are magical. The third one has a Narnia quality to it. I love them.
For some reason your blog was not showing up on my ready thing. I scrolled back and see I missed a lot of wonderful pictures.
You are brave to put 49 candles on on cupcake!
I live not too far from the place where they make the American Girl dolls so its a big deal here.
Women compete for the seasonal jobs there. They say it is so much fun to work there at holiday time.

They are amazing looking birds. They are so different looking when they fly, stand tall, and scrunch down. And their cry is almost unnerving. - Margy

I really like Herons - the way they stalk around on those skinny long legs and move so gracefully and quietly is amazing. Wonderful photo in black and white.

Just beautiful - going about their business looking for food and enjoying the habitat. They don't even seem aware of being the subject of so many unique portraits!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, terrific. I really like the herons done up in monotones like this. Very dramatic.

Thanks for sharing your link at I'd Rather B Birdin' this week.

Their eyes in particular are so striking!

Herons and Egrets are hard to resist. They have such a variety of poses and hold them long enough to get a photo.

Nice bird - I always think I have seen 'something' when I find a heron!

Wonderful photos! I do like the black & white! By the way, Mom's book just came out! Check her out on my sidebar at Living Life on Main Street. I am so proud of her. I'm on chapter 2 and already detected a couple of typos, but the story itself is so awesome, I hope she will sell hundreds! I loaned her my copy of your book when I was through reading it and she enjoyed it. She doesn't collect real books anymore (just uses her kindle) but I loan her some every once in a while. Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
