Flowers on Guemes Island - Mosaic Monday

The yards and gardens on Guemes Island are some of the prettiest around - and then there are all the wild flowers.  Such beauty all around.
White wild flowers and garden flowers
The Oriental Poppies were spectacular this year
Roses on fences - with a background of California Lilacs
White Poppies - I'd never seen these before

All the flowers are a welcome sight along the roadsides. The white poppies are unique and beautiful.

Pretty flowers are so soothing to the eye. I miss lilac bushes. Texas has Crepe mrytles but they don't have any smell. They're pretty and I have several in my yard but no smell. Last spring there were loads of yellow and white poppy's in fields along the road but not so many this year.
