I love the colors of spring - outdoors and indoors. The table is set for our spring brunch - we spent easter in WV, visiting our grandson Donnie and his family, so when we got home we had another celebration with our grandsons and their families in Bellingham
The dishes are MacBeth Evans - the yellow silverware is new - and just the right color for a spring brunch
Napkin rings are tiny terra cotta flower pots that I painted last year. The napkins are ones I made for our oldest daughter's wedding in 2001. I made over 200 of them. The guests were able to take home napkins as souvenirs.
A new set of glasses - from the 1950s. They were marked Vintage in the thrift store - and they surely are - and wonderful. The soft colors are perfect for this table setting.
All ready for food. The menu was two kinds of french toast casserole - one stuffed with cream cheese and strawberry jam, one plain - both delicious. Also bacon, sausages, orange juice and fruit salad
Oh - and strawberry/rhubarb cobbler and strawberry/rhubarb pie - the rhubarb came from our garden. More MacBeth Evans bowls and also white MacBeth Evans dessert plates - the plates were a gift from my cousin several years ago in California.
A spring Bunny Tea Pot
And a spring tree decorated with tiny ornaments, sparkly eggs, ribbons and flowers
Spring indoors and out - these are pansies from the pots on our deck
A happy spring brunch!!
