It is pine cone season at our house - pine cones for decorations and a pine cone tea set.
Wintery weather is a good time for a hot cup of tea.
All the pieces have been collected separately at yard sales, thrift shops and estate sales - yet they match very well.
One of my favorites - shimmery and bright
Stop by for a cup of tea one of these blustery Winter days.
The pine cone decoration on the china is so delicate and fine I can see why it would be a favourite, incredible to think that you have collected the pieces from so many different places and yet they all display so perfectly together.
ReplyDeleteThanks for getting Mosaic Monday off to such a great start this morning, wishing you a fab week ahead.

ReplyDeleteThe pine cone design is a favorite of mine too. I love picking up big perfect pine cones when we hike. I finally had to throw a few away last week! lol Enjoy your evening! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteAs Maggie said, it is impressive that you can find pieces that match so well. A lovely motif, to be sure. Once we get in our log home, I am looking forward to assessing our tableware; maybe I can start searching for a particular theme myself!
ReplyDeleteI have a collection of tea cups, over the sixty that are in two cases, but this is one I have not yet found. Of course, I am not actively searching anymore....
ReplyDeleteYou always find the best treasures. - Margy
