Autumn Webs

Early morning sun sparkles on webs in the fields on Lopez Island on a foggy/sunny morning
The fog was very heavy early one morning on our anniversary get-away to Lopez Island last month - the sun broke through just as we were starting out to explore the island that morning- making the webs in the fields glisten with drops of fog that had collected on the webs overnight.

  1. Beautiful lacy cobwebs, they have always fascinated me since childhood, what pretty mosaics they make. Happy Mosaic Monday!

  6. These are stunning! - suitable for a science book or an example of radial perspective. Oh the beauty in the world that God has created for us, if only we would stop and look carefully - the way you do every day!

  8. Very nice! And you even caught the architect waiting in the center. Webs like this are so pretty covered in diamond dew!

  11. Love the pumpkins in your header. This morning on the way to town we had a spider clinging to the front of our boat. He wobbled around in the strong wind from our forward motion for quite a while, then got close enough to the window to huddle in a ball using two legs to brace himself for the tough ride. I felt bad, but there was no way to get out to him to relieve his stress. - Margy
