This Fuchsia was a birthday gift - received the day before I went to the hospital. It is growing and blooming on the deck and I can see it from my chair in the living room. The hummingbirds love it, but I've not been able to catch them as they flit about.
I also received a lovely pot of clumping yellow bamboo - I'll get a photo of it when it is planted in the yard.
So many pretties!
Green carnations!
Red carnations - the scent was wonderful!
Lots of daffodil bouquets.
Such beautiful Gladiolas!
More daffodils! I love this photo - some reflections in the window from indoors, and the deck outdoors appears to be right next to the window - it is actually about 8 or 9 feet away.
We completely missed the daffodils and tulips in Skagit County this year, but our daughter brought me this lovely narcissus bouquet.
The scent was fabulous!
And a bouquet of yellow tulips alongside the narcissus bouquet.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers, they are all beautiful gifts. The Fuchsia is one of my favorites. I hope all is well. Enjoy your day and weekend!
So many pretty flowers for you to enjoy, JoAnn. Flowers sitting in front of a window make beautiful reflections, don't they; they double the joy. I hope you are feeling better, dear lady.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I'm so glad you're up to doing an occasional blog, and blog visit. What a tough, long haul it's been for you!
ReplyDeleteI love all those spring bouquets. I'm glad you were surrounded by such beautiful flowers even if you couldn't get out to see them growing in the valley. I hope it won't be long before you're able to get out onto your deck, if only to listen to the birds.
Those flowers showered you with love!
ReplyDeleteHello JoAnn - I'm sure the flowers helped cheer your recovery - they are all so pretty. Isn't our weather gorgeous lately?
ReplyDeleteWowee! Such pretty flowers. Always a pleasure when we are remembered with pretties. I don't know what was wrong with you but I am glad you are better and everyday getting stronger.
