Continuing from last week - more summer collages - I can never get enough of summer
Summer is
Fields of Alium waving in the wind - do you hear them? They sound like soft wind chimes
Fabulous clouds and deep blue skies
Piles and piles of pansies, picked fresh from my flower pots to press and dry for crafts in the winter
Summer is unbelievable finds at yard sales and flea markets
Nature at its best
Summer is pretty white flowers
And skies that are ever changing
And fun crafts to stitch while sitting on the deck
Trips to lakes and cabins
Mullein growing alongside the road
And seagulls
Always seagulls
Flowers
Flowers
FLOWERS!!!!
What do you love best about summer?
Hello, looks like your summer was great. I love the pretty flowers, the cabin and lake. The birds and critters are all wonderful. Great series of photos and mosaics. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteNice collages!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos as always, JoAnn. The flowers are gorgeous, love the foxgloves with the little purple interiors. You have done well in the yard sale department this summer!! I found some really cute napkin rings today at Savers, seagulls. I feel I have to do one more summer table, even though I have a fall one mostly done and ready to photograph.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
What a wonderful summer you've had! These collages are the best of everything! We're headed to California for a week and hope to get some hiking in before summer disappears. Wish me luck. An old, chronic foot problem has resurfaced and, of course, the sore back. It all makes me feel old and slow.
ReplyDeleteSome lovely photos, I particularly like the field of alliums. Not a fan of summer really but I do love to see roses and to spend time at the coast.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable! You could get burned out with sio much beauty all around.
ReplyDeleteWhat great summer shots. You make marvelous collages. I like everything about summer.
ReplyDeleteToday it is overcast, gray and chilly---but being from the PNW I like that too.

I love the way that you theme your mosaics by colour or subject, Jo Ann they always make me smile. By the way, you can never have too many seagull (or cow) mosaics in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some of your summer delights with us at Mosaic Monday this week.
A wonderful photo recap of summer, JoAnn! Love that mosaic with the many floral photos. I hope summer lingers for a long time and we have a beautiful September!
ReplyDeleteLook at that big mosaic of flowers! WOW! It's fabulous! I love the little owl, ladybug and bird that you've made my friend. What a great summer it's been! Sweet hugs, Diane
