Bellingham is a flowering paradise in the spring - here are some of the pretty flowers we get to enjoy - some in our yard and some around town.
Massive Rhododendrons of every color
bloom all over town
Massive dogwood trees, lilacs and rhododendrons
White rhododendron
Glorious wisteria on an arch - I didn't notice the turkey in the foreground until I saw this picture
The fields in the camping area of Birch Bay State Park - dandelions and English Daisies
White tulips on our deck
With a sprinkle of rain
Another gorgeous wisteria - such a pretty garden
Tulips on our deck
Double Flowering Cherry
This is just a bit of what we get to enjoy in our town - everything seems to be in bloom right now.
The scent must be heavenly!
ReplyDeleteYou take such amazing photos and isn't that turkey a fun surprise? He photo bombed you...heehee! Looks like all of that rain really paid off in Spring blossoms. And we both have horses in our banners now! Great minds! Enjoy your day sweet friend. Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteWOW! Such gorgeous flowers...the air must be permeated with their wonderful scents. Massive is an understatement for some of those bushes! I love wisteria, but have never tried growing one. I am headed to the nursery in about an hour, so maybe I will look for one. I am trying to find a certain shade of pink hardy hibiscus.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of roses and peonies blooming right now. The coreopsis (tickseed) is getting ready, they are almost as bad as a weed for spreading!
Have a great weekend, JoAnn.
Hello, beautiful blossoms, spring colors and images. I just love the wisteria! Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend ahead!

ReplyDeleteThese flowers are all so beautiful. LOVE the Wisteria!
ReplyDeleteWith spotty internet connections, I was glad not to miss this post. Our burst of color comes in smaller doses but it is making its way here.
ReplyDeleteYes it is beautiful just about everywhere. The flowering plants seem to be bigger and more colorful all over. Specially the Wisteria and Rhodys.

ReplyDeleteWhat glorious flowers and gardens! I've always been impressed with how spectacular some of Washington's gardens are. It looks like you've found a good assortment of them, not to mention your own.
