All sorts of barns
Two eagles on a barn- viewing their domain - while birds fly overhead.
The Sisters mountains in the background of a working barn
Fresh and white - notice the rust on the ventilator
Almost a twin - but there are two ventilators on the roof - and no rust. The bare bushes in front of the barn are raspberry vines. The vines are gathered into small bunches and the ends are bent back towards the ground - this bend makes the vines put out more growth and more berries. The fields look like long lines of wood candy canes.
Magnificent view of the Sisters - with a rundown, deserted farm and twin silos in theforeground
Two more farms in front of the Sisters.
Beautiful barns and farms. Makes me curious why the one farm is abandoned.

Hello, you do have beautiful views of the mountains and barns. Love the eagles perched on the barn roof too. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteWow, JoAnn...with a backdrop like you have your barns are gorgeous! Like Rose I can't choose a favorite. I hope that there are a bunch more for you to sharing in the future. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteSuch a distinctive style of barns you have out there!

I can hardly take my eyes off those gorgeous mountains to look at the barns.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of the farms in the foreground of the Sisters mountains are my favorites. I cannot imagine what happened to the family that abandoned the one farm that was enough to make them leave a beautiful property like that abandoned. How Sad.

Interesting how the tiny specks of the twin eagles really make the focal point of your first photo! - at least for me! You certainly are there at the right moment for so many of your beauties!
