More barns from last week on River Road - a quiet farming area - some fields are still covered in flood waters from the recent rains.
With Trumpeter Swans swimming in the flooded fields
A well kept barn - flooded field strewn with swan feathers in the foreground
Reflections
A new fence
A silo - left alone in the field
Still in use - a nice red barn
All these barns look loved and well maintained!

JoAnn, a great collection this week. My favorite is "reflections." I've never seen Trumpeter Swans before, just lots of Canadian and Snow Geese. Please return with some more Pacific Northwest barns.
ReplyDeleteYour second barn is a beauty. It looks like it could be a combined home for livestock and people - the way they used to live alongside their animals. I'm sure the company was far more pleasant for many of them than other family members!
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I enjoy seeing the barns in your area.
ReplyDeleteOh, JoAnn, I do so love seeing the barns you post, and very grateful that you load a larger image. Love expanding and seeing the details.
ReplyDeleteYou have some awesome barns in your area and photo options.
