  2. Lovely tea pot and cups today. And oh those pansies. Lucky you that they overwintered. No plans had a chance with our cold winter.

  7. Very pretty! I had "vanilla bean" butter with my pancakes at Lake Quinault last week. I think it would be lovely on scones or muffins. Have you ever made it? Our waitress said theirs was made with whipped butter, sugar, and vanilla paste (it has little bits of vanilla bean in it). Perfect for afternoon tea!

  9. Hi JoAnn,
Your pansies are so sweet and how lovely to be able to enjoy them this time of year. I won't see any for many months. Your tea set is wonderful and the florals on it are a delight to the eyes! A very pretty posting, and thank you for sharing with us and joining me for tea.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  10. Nice tea set and beautiful shots. I'm a coffee drinker and have a set a friend gave me who has since passed. Some days I use one of those cups and just think about what joy I'd feel if I could actually share a cup with her. :-)

  11. Pansies are a popular winter bloom on my street, to my surprise. You would never see those at this time of year in Ohio where I grew up.Geraniums hang on all winter in my planters here. Nice to share tea with you.

  13. A lovely set. I should get things out of the cupboard to enjoy, but I'm too lazy. I went to Cozy Books today to trade in some finished books and look for new ones. I saw a stack of "Are We Walking to Alaska?" on the shelf. Good for you! - Margy

  14. How refreshing to come here! I set aside blog reading time for this morning and spent an hour plowing through regurgitated recipes, product endorsement and content cobbled together from the postings of others.
Your site is ALWAYS your original work, carefully crafted and so enjoyable to read. I feel right at home here!

  15. How I wish I was coming to tea. I would put on my most elegant tea dress and eat dainty little cakes and drink china tea and make interesting conversation - and use those pretty cups and saucers.

  16. Everything on that table meets the eye of being girlish so prim and proper. I will be over.
