Hi Joann,
ReplyDeleteI love your milk glass and yes, red depression glass is perfect for Valentines day. That is a pretty tea set adorned with roses and how nice that you have so many pieces. Seems a lot of ladies were proposed to on Valentines Day. Thanks for sharing and Happy Valentines week!
Blessings,

Very striking, JoAnn! Nice collection of milk glass...and the red sherbets are such a beautiful shade of red. ♥ the doily, too. I just can't seem to get into Valentine's this year...I am trying to pull a table together, but nothing seems to mesh. Guess I will have to live vicariously through my blogs.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.

What a lovely Valentine tea! I love your milk glass, red depression ware and the moss rose tea set! So pretty! Years ago I got a few pieces of milk glass for wedding gifts, and I've been collecting the moss rose tea china for a few years now. Perfect for the month of Febuary!

ReplyDeleteWow, a striking display on your sideboard with the milk glass and ruby depression glass.
ReplyDeleteHow romantic that your hubby proposed on Valentine's Day, he must be a romantic at heart! The night we went to our high school prom, we went out for Chinese first and my fortune cookie said I'd marry the man I was with that night. And I did!
And Happy Valentine's to you too! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteOh those crazy candy hearts! I remember a few years ago when they decided to "update" some of the phrases on them so they added hip new things like "FAX ME" -- hahahahahahaha! Who the hell faxes anything anymore?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning, JoAnn! And what's special is knowing these red and whites are individually collected treasures - not just one set yanked out of a box from Macy's!
ReplyDeleteI just saw your little ladies in their red outfits and imagine what an eye popping scene your house looks like for Valentine's Day! It sings with joy!
We came up with a new idea last night, since Valentine's Day is one of our favorites..."Advent" Valentine's Day. So we started celebrating last night and will keep going after Valentine's Day, too. I think it was just an excuse to break into the Valentine's chocolates...
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty display! Happy Valentines! xx
