Weekly Top Shot

A ride up Mosquito Lake Road.  We go every autumn, just to watch the leaves drift down.  There are steep rock walls on one side of the road and a long drop off to the  Nooksack River on the other side.  It is heavily wooded and so very little wind up there.  The leaves drift slowly down and the only sound is the little plop when they hit the ground - and the soft sound of the river far below.

     We sit and watch the leaves for over an hour - enchanted.

These shots are not cropped and are straight out of the camera.
